LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… STRANGE BEDFELLOWS THEATRE IS A GO!
Welcome one and all, (being the three or four people who follow this blog.) to the beginnings of a Theatre company that my good friend Natalie and myself have started.
We’re based in Chicago (Lakeview/Lincoln Park area). The idea was born in a coffee house after my friend and I had a lengthy discussion of art, theatre, aesthetic, production and our general hunger to have an institution in our lives that could be a vehicle for communication and creative expression.
We recently got the rights to produce Fire Island, by: Charles Mee and are now in the furious process of pre-production for creating a world and gathering actors and a following for this brilliant little endeavor.
Check us out! I’ll probably be posting progress on how this thing grows, and who knows? We might just make something of ourselves!
