At long last...
So, I’m not entirely great at communicating my bizarre intentions or the direction of my latest ventures. But… I bought a website? Cool, right?

The Simpsons Episode where Homer gets his jaw wired shut is probably my favorite episode ever. Why?
-(Referring to a framed news clipping in the bathroom reading “Local Man Ruins Everything”) “…that donkey is a bad influence on you”
-“I’m going to kill you!”
“Well so much for the new Homer… What is going on here?”
“Oh, I...

My head is in a million places right now. I just deposited two of my best friends on the other side of the country and had to pass through airline security at LAX. Needless to say, I’m in a weird place emotionally. I’m eating a Baja Fresh burrito and about to get back to reading Game of Thrones. That’s about my life right now.

The Gap has a weird crush on me.
In an unemployed act of desperation almost a year ago, I applied to The Gap hoping for a retail gig to pay my way while I waited anxiously to become an installation in the Chicago art scene with a downtown hi-rise loft and a pet ocelot named Clarence and several friends all named, and with various spellings of “Deiter”.
Since filling out the personality profile and assessing which...
An obligatory update for the rough-and tumblrverse
Well, if you actually follow this blog, then KUDOS. Quite seriously, after months of silence and I emerge from the depths to tell you the most obvious of details about my life:
1. I am still alive, this was debated by a number of scientists and doctors from a number of medical professions.
2. This heat would be absolutely unbearable if it were not for my good friend PolarWind, the box fan. He...

Mad Men.
It’s great.
Tell your friends.
I'm devising a playlist...
…dedicated to awesomeness in music. It goes something like this:
Cold War-Janelle Monae
The Dream-Rufus Wainwright
Creep-Amanda Palmer (Radiohead cover)
Jocasta-Noah and the Whale
Pink Bullets-The Shins
Alive-Goldfrapp (For the disco-tastic vampiric absurdity of the music video alone.)
For No One-The Beatles
Wooden Arms-Patrick Watson
Make It Rain-Tom Waits
Elevator Music-Beck

Had a dream...
…Where I was hanging out with some old family friends. There was some objective to the whole scenario, but we ended up going to someone resembling Seth Green’s house. Everything was cool, until we got in his car, where he started driving like a crazy person. He then informed us that he’d taken amphetamines, and that we’d all been given the same drug. We almost die a couple...

Dear Sleep,
So, we don’t really hang out as frequently nor as regularly as we used to. I’m still functioning, so it’s really not an issue thus far, however I can see this being an issue in an eventual future tense.
Your bestie,
